L&C Moldova

Love And Care For Moldova are helping to raise money for various projects in Moldova. Here is a little bit about them and what they are upto. 

LOVE AND CARE FOR MOLDOVA have the vision that the lives of all children and young people in Moldova should be free from: poverty, abuse, and discrimination. We believe in the abused, the vulnerable, the forgotten and the neglected. We will support them, stand up for them and bring out the best in each and every child in our care. We believe that LOVE is a human right .We believe in children and families.

Meryvn Cartwright (Love and Care Moldova trustee) says...

We are in the process of sending some stuff over to Moldova.  We work in Orhei region - we have sent 34 computers, 16 scanners and 6 printers to some schools, for Hircesti (also in the Ungheni region, like Falesti where TEECH visited in 2008 and will be again in 2009).  We have sent 14000 items of clothing to this complex of 5 villages together with blankets.

We are looking for partners in getting a training workshop going in Straseni.  If you would like details please contact me by clicking here.  It is a project which would become self sufficient in a very short period of time.

We are partners in running a drop in centre in the village of Valcinet, we have children sponsored for this project (again if any of your people would like to help - we have 9 children awaiting sponsorship).

We also work with a kindergarten in Chisinau for the partially sighted.  We have been providing them with childrens specs since Strabismus (squint) can be fixed through the use of specs.

We are partners with other charities in Moldova and UK and believe that only through partnership can progress be made there.
