Just a little bit of information about my school and how they are supporting Teech by SallyM, a TEECH Volunteer
The Year 9 Team at Clacton Coastal Academy (Colbayns High School) have been doing assemblies about the charity, and are doing a shoebox drive for TEECH and have a big display in the Year Office.
I have also done a large display about Teech and last years project in the staff room and again the Staff are collecting shoeboxes and clothing etc. Staff have also made donations to my fundraising efforts and also via JustGiving, a quick and easy online donations page www.justgiving.com/Sally-Moir
The Year 10’s will have a session about the charity in the next “Enrichment Day” on 2nd July incorporating it into their curriculum as part of their citizenship studies. I have been asked to film a short piece about the charity for this.
The school has also donated a huge amount of Brand New School Uniform and 200 + chairs.
Obviously this has all been done pretty quickly and the support I have received has been wonderful and they are saying they would like to be more active next year. Fingers crossed!!!
