This was the first year a group of the volunteers were taken to help projects within two hospitals in Bucharest.
The standards of hygiene were terrible, not the fault of the Romanians as it had been like this since an earthquake hit the hospitals and there wasn’t any money to improve conditions - they were actually worsening with no sign of getting better.
